Registration

The school considers many factors when considering admission for prospective students. These factors include, but are not limited to, family members enrolled in the school, St. Alphonsus Nursery enrollment, Catholic faith background*, parish affiliation**, the composition of the class and the learning needs of the applicant.

*Catholic applicants must submit a certificate of baptism.

**To be considered a member of St. Alphonsus Parish, families must be registered with the parish for a minimum of one year prior to their application and be regular contributors to the parish.

Registration for the school year begins in January with the re-registration of students presently attending the school. Following the open house at the end of January, new applications for Kindergarten and the other grades are processed. Intake interviews with the principal begin shortly thereafter.  Application information can be found here.

To be eligible to enter Kindergarten in September of a given school year, a child’s fifth birthday must occur on or before December 31st of that school year.

To be eligible for the Nursery program in September of a given year, a child’s third birthday must occur on or before December 31st of that school year.
