Enhanced Programming is on hold during the pandemic to reduce the crossover between cohorts.
As part of the school’s strategic plan, the Board and Staff have been looking at different enhanced programming initiatives to offer to the children, with cost sharing between the school and parents. Our enhanced Programming offerings this year include:
Code Cobras Coding and Computer Science Club
This club is open to all ages and offers students an opportunity to build their coding skills in a fun, game based environment. This program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.
Crafting with Cheryl
This club is open to students in Grades 1-4. Students are learning about different crafts and come home with beautiful creations. Wednesdays is our crafting day, after school.
Grade 5 & 6 Robotics Club
As the name implies, this club is open to students in grades 5 & 6. Beginning in January, participants will build a Robo-critter, which they can then enter into the Manitoba Robot Games. Robotics Club will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays after school.
Mad Science
Mad Science meets after school. Students enjoy learning scientific concepts through fun (and sometimes) silly experiments.
